Our unique "in the cloud" authoring package "AuthorITe" allows you to produce SDS on our secure Servers – no need to invest in, or maintain expensive hardware.

  • AuthorITe links directly to our Regulatory database "Galleria" and all (M)SDS enjoy "live" feeds – this ensures that they are updated as Regulation or Classification changes (Annex 1 DSD, Annex 6 CLP/EuH REACH, Japanese, Korean, Australian and New Zealand GHS)
  • AuthorITE also links to our unique database of substance classifications – over 100,000 substances characterised by our team – most substances have not undergone official classification
  • Each (M)SDS can be created in any of 35 languages

REGULATORY UPDATES: Galleria Chemica:

  • is a Regulatory database of 600,000 substances, 6000 families, and 1700 Lists
  • is maintained by Chemwatch and updated in almost real time
  • links directly to each (M)SDS. Taiwanese SDS, for example, link directly to those Lists related to Taiwan and to those required under international warrant; the same is true of each country in which you operate links are live and update Outback and BackPac
  • (M)SDS in real time

SUBSTANCE UPDATES:

  • Chemwatch has fully characterised and written (M)SDS for almost 100,000 substances
  • These are maintained almost real time so that a change in classification (say under GHS/ CLP) is quickly reflected in mixtures/ preparations containing this substance; the process is automatic
  • In addition we maintain a separate database of Vendor SDS (almost 13 million) called the Collection; as these are updated, by the Vendor, we extract any self-classification information
  • Substances, not currently found in our database, are written, without charge - this benefits our entire constituency

NOTIFICATIONS:

Updating process is largely automatic, and may include Classification changes

Your Clients also receive alerts and receive new or updated (M)SDS by email.

Outback automatically notifies your own clients are notified when an (M)SDS undergoes modifications.

Updated (M)SDS are sent as a PDF to each client who purchases the product.

Emails ask for confirmation of receipt; this is recorded in a separate client log – your obligations to supply updated (M)SDS are met.
